Naxalbari: Meet STF Agent Raghav Played By Rajeev Khandelwal

ZEE5 original Naxalbari is all set to premiere this month end on October 28. The web series will see some of the known television actors in supporting roles. Rajeev Khandelwal and Aamir Ali will be seen playing pivotal roles. Take a look at Rajeev Khandelwal’s character in the ZEE5 original series.

Naxalbari is the story of a man named STF agent Raghav Joshi who will be going on a secret mission to Naxabari. Here, the Naxalites will try to revive a red uprising in Gadchiroli. He will go on a war with them and try to curtail the revival. The war soon gets personal as he digs into their story more and reveals some surprising mysteries. The role of STF Agent Raghav will be portrayed by actor Rajeev Khandelwal.

Rajeev Khandelwal‘s character Raghav is a very intense one. It is the first time that he will have a moustache in his look. Raghav is a courageous man who believes that one might have to use weapons in order to bring justice. In the trailer, he will go on a wall with the Naxalites and he will fight until his last breath. However, as the story unfolds and Raghav exposes the darker and deeper truth of the Naxal arms, he realises that they have a larger plan. He also goes on a personal journey during the war as he experiences the loss of friendship and love. He gets himself trapped at the very centre of the red uprising.

Naxalbari will be an action-packed series of 8 episodes where the protagonist will fight back the red uprising started by the Naxalites in Gadchiroli. The series was shot during the coronavirus pandemic taking all the safety precautions. Apart from Rajeev Khandelwal and Aamir Ali, the Naxalbari cast will feature actors like Tina Dutta as Ketki, Sreejita Dey as Prakriti, Satyadeep Mishra and Pahan and Shakti Anand as Binu Atram. The ZEE5 original series is directed by Partho Mitra and produced by GSEAMS owned by Arjun & Kartik.
