Neelam Kothari’s Father Shishir Kothari Passes Away; Actress Pens A Heartbreaking Note Calling Her Father Her ‘Pillar Of Strength’

Actor and Jewelry Designer Neelam Kothari’s father Shishir Kothari passes away recently. The star took to Instagram to mourn her father and called him her “guiding light”. Neelam, who is married to actor Samir Soni, took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture of her late beloved father, Shishir Kothari.

She shared her dearest dad. He was her guiding light, her strength, her pillar of support, and her friend. You will be deeply missed. They love him May your soul rest in peace. Amen.

Speaking about Neelam’s professional life, Neelam Kothari Soni is an Indian jewelry designer and actress, known mononymous as Neelam. She made her acting debut with Jawaani opposite debutant Karan Shah. Neelam has thereafter starred opposite Govinda in Love 86, Ilzaam, Sindoor, Khudgarz, Hatya, Farz Ki Jung, Taaqatwar, and Do Qaidi.

Neelam Kothari was born in Hong Kong. She is a Gujarati-Iranian. As a child, she learned to play the keyboard and danced Jazz Ballet. Her family has a traditional jewelry-making business, making high-class pieces. She was educated at Island School, where she was a member of Rutherford’s house. After her childhood in Hong Kong, her family moved to Bangkok. Neelam was holidaying in Mumbai when she was approached by director Ramesh Behl.
