As his wife watches, Mehr is also seen standing on a chair and whispering something in Kapil Dev’s ear. Kapil Dev is friends with Angad’s cricketer father, Bishan Singh Bedi. The former made headlines recently after the release of 83, a film based on India’s victory at the 1983 Cricket World Cup. On-screen, Ranveer Singh played him as the captain of the world cup-winning team. With their daughter Mehr, their three-month-old son, and Neha’s parents, Neha and Angad spent New Year’s Eve in Goa.
