Poonam Pandey Reacts To Raj Kundra’s Arrest, Says “I Have Full Faith In Our Judicial Process”

Shilpa Shetty‘s husband Raj Kundra has recently been arrested by the Crime Branch Mumbai, in relation to a case regarding the creation and publishing of pornographic films on various mobile apps. He is among the 11 convicted in the case. According to the latest reports, Kundra will be kept in judicial custody till July 23, 2021. Amid all this, a few women from the industry have come forward to share their testimonies either in support of Kundra or against him. Read on to know what erotic performer, actress and model Poonam Pandey had to say about the businessman.

Poonam Pandey had earlier filed a case against Raj Kundra and his company in the year 2019 alleging that they used her pictures and videos even after the termination of her contract. The case is still pending in the court of law. However, when asked to comment on Kundra’s arrest, the actress explained why she would never use this situation to highlight her own trauma. She said, “At this moment my heart goes out to Shilpa Shetty and her kids. I can’t imagine what she must be going through. So, I refuse to use this opportunity to highlight my trauma.”

Recalling the case she filed against Raj Kundra, Poonam said, “The only thing I’ll add is that I have filed a police complaint in 2019 against Raj Kundra and subsequently registered a case at the honourable high court of Bombay against him for fraud & theft.” She also added that as this matter is subjudice, she would prefer to ‘limit her statements’. Pandey also claimed that she has full faith in the police and the judicial system of the country.

Meanwhile, actress Sagarika Shona Suman has accused Raj Kundra of ‘demanding nude audition’. She also claimed that she was offered a role in a web series produced by him in August 2020.
