R. Balki Announces A New Thriller Flick Starring Sunny Deol, Dulquer Salmaan, Pooja Bhatt And Shreya Dhanwanthary

Director R. Balki, who has always impressed the audience with his line of work recently announced his upcoming project with an exceptionally talented star cast. This project is slated to be a thriller film featuring Sunny Deol, Dulquer Salmaan, Pooja Bhatt And Shreya Dhanwanthary. Talking about this project, Balki expressed his excitement to be shooting after waiting for months. He added that the genre is something he has never attempted, and that makes it much more thrilling for the director.

Balki claimed that although the film is “fundamentally a thriller”, it banks a lot on the stunning star cast of the film. Talking about his lead, Balki stated that he’s “ecstatic” to work with Sunny Deol. He also said that the actor has a “booming screen presence” while adding that he hopes the film adds to Sunny’s “glorious filmography”.

Dulquer Salmaan is one of the most popular Malayalam film stars. He was also seen in Bollywood films like Zoya Factor and Karwaan. Balki called Dulquer “one of the most charming actors in Indian cinema” while adding that he’s “looking forward to his(Dulquer’s) distinct and cool interpretation” of the film.

Balki seemed elated to work with Pooja Bhatt who he claims is “clarity personified”. Appreciating the actress’ performance in Bombay Begums, he added that she’s one of the most versatile actors in the industry who was “born to be in front of that camera and on-screen”.

The director also had his eyes out for the young and rising star, Shreya Dhanwanthary. He claimed, “After watching her performance in both ‘Scam 1992‘ and ‘The Family Man‘, I just knew I would eventually work with this talented girl.” He also added that he’s excited to see the chemistry between Shreya and Dulquer on screen.

The shoot for the film will begin soon with an aim to release it in 2022.
