Directed by A Harsha, a prominent choreographer-director of Sandalwood, Seetharama Kalyana is a cute romantic film with liberal doses of good action sequences. The love story is about Arya and Geetha, who are separated by their financial statuses. Hailing from a rich background, Arya (played by Nikhil) falls in love with Geetha (played by Rachita Ram), who comes from a small town and is all set to marry her, until problems arise from his side of the family. Whether Arya and Geetha finally manage to tie the knot forms the crux of the film.
This trailer shows exactly what we mean when we say Seetharama Kalyana is a mass-oriented film. There is romance, there are fight scenes and family values too in this masala flick. There is also a scene in which P Ravishankar, who plays the role of Geetha’s father, asks Arya ‘Yaaro neenu?’ (who are you?), and the latter replies ‘Nan appandu visiting card kano’ (I am my father’s visiting card dude). Thanks to Nikhil’s swag and Rachita Ram’s quirky shenanigans, Seetharama Kalyana promises to be a complete paisa-vasool film.
Here’s another promo of the movie for you to enjoy:
For those of you who don’t know, the film is produced by Anitha Kumaraswamy, Nikhil’s mother and wife of Karnataka’s CM, HD Kumaraswamy. A worthy mention must go out to the director though, for creating exceptional mass-oriented films like Bhajarangi and Vajrakaya (both starting Shivanna) in the past. So you can surely expect Seetharama Kalyana to be a super hit for the viewers. Don’t forget to enjoy the brilliant supporting cast consisting of P Ravishankar, Girija Lokesh, Madhoo and Chikkanna too.
Stay tuned for the film, soon to make it’s world digital premiere on ZEE5.
