Shah Rukh Khan Turns 55: What’s Next For King Khan?

On November 1, 2020, Bollywood’s superstar Shah Rukh Khan turned a year older. Famously known as King Khan, SRK has been around in Bollywood for almost three decades now. Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero. After the film’s release, the actor decided to take a small break and spend some quality time with his family along with reading scripts. Although there has been no official confirmation, reports from various sources suggest that SRK is all set face the camera this month with Sidharth Anand’s Pathan. Let’s take a look at what is in store for the superstar next.

Pathan

As mentioned, Shah Rukh Khan is expected to begin shooting for Pathan this month. Reports say that he will have an extensive two-month shooting schedule. Post that, the actor will be joined by his co-stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the next shooting schedule which might begin in the year 2021. The action movie is being produced by YRF and is helmed by Sidharth Anand. With this movie, apart from Deepika-Shah Rukh’s on-screen chemistry, fans are also looking forward to seeing SRK and John share the silver screen for the very first time.

Atlee’s Sanki

The man behind movies like Bigil, Mersal and Theri, Atlee is reportedly going to make his Bollywood debut with a project featuring SRK. Although there is not much information about the project, rumours suggest that he will be playing a double role in the movie. Previously, Shah Rukh has played a double role in films like Duplicate, Fan, Paheli and the Don series.

Rajkumar Hirani’s social comedy

As per the viral reports, this one is definitely one of the most awaited Bollywood projects as it will bring together Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani for the very first time. The movie is reportedly to be a social comedy revolving around immigration. Moreover, SRK is expected to play the role of a man who moves to Canada from Punjab.

Brahmastra

Besides the above-mentioned projects, Brahmastra is another project that movie-goers are looking forward to. As if the cast including superstars like Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt wasn’t enough already, fans now have yet another reason to look forward to this film and that is SRK’s cameo. SRK is said to play the role of a scientist in the movie. Moreover, there have been rumours that his character is an aid to Ranbir’s character and helps push the story forward.
