1. Pulp Fiction
Shweta Basu Prasad replicated the world-famous hairstyle of the popular character of Mia in the 1994 film Pulp Fiction. She recreated Uma Thurman’s look as Mia as well as her photo while sharing an interesting fact about it. She stated that Uma had shared a photo of her daughter Maya with a very similar hairstyle which led fans to believe that it was a tribute to Mia’s character.

2. Vivre Sa Vie
Shweta recreated the bangs hairstyle of Anna Karina as Nana from the film Vivre Sa Vie, directed by Jean-Luc Godard. The actress stated that this was the first Jean-Luc Godard film she had ever watched & added how Nana’s character represented a poem in the film to her.

3. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
Shweta also recreated the famous Bollywood look of Kajol’s character, Anjali, from the 1998 film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. She spoke about how she had many similarities with Anjali’s character while growing up and how, over time, she has realised the importance of friendship in any healthy romantic relationship.

Talking about how the 2001 film Amélie was her introduction to French cinema while recreating her look from the film, Shweta revealed that Audrey Tautou’s character Amélie in the film is one of the few characters she herself truly resonates with. Shweta also added that Audrey Tautou is one of her favourite actresses.

Shweta spectacularly recreated the hairstyle of Sadhna’s character of Meena from the 1965 Bollywood film Waqt. She wrote how Sadhna’s iconic bangs hairstyle later became a trend called the ‘Sadhana Cut.’ She revealed that according to media sources, it was the director and Sadhna’s husband who suggested the haircut to hide her big forehead.
