SOS Kolkata Star Nusrat Jahan And Nikhil Jain’s Marriage Is NOT Legally Valid – Kolkata Court
বিনোদনA district court in Kolkata declared that actor-turned-politician Nusrat Jahan’s marriage to businessman Nikhil Jain is not legally valid as Nikhil Jain had filed a complaint in Kolkata’s Alipore Court
A district court in Kolkata ruled that the marriage of actor-turned-politician Nusrat Jahan and businessman Nikhil Jain is not legally genuine. Jain had filed a complaint in Kolkata’s Alipore Court, requesting a ruling declaring that he and Nusrat had never married. The decision came months after Nusrat argued in India that her marriage to Nikhil was void.
On Tuesday, Civil Judge S Roy of the 2nd court in Alipore ruled that the supposed marriage between the plaintiff and the defendant on June 19, 2019, at Bodrum, Turkey, was not legally recognized. The court noted in its judgment Jain’s assertion that he and Jahan held a wedding party in the presence of their close friends and family, according to both Western and Indian wedding traditions and ceremonies. The marriage was never recorded in Turkey, according to recent reports.
Nikhil claims that after their social marriage in Turkey and reception in Kolkata, he asked Nusrat multiple times to get their marriage registered. Nusrat, on the other hand, declined. Meanwhile, the affair of Nusrat Jahan and Yash Dasputa was making the rounds. Nikhil decided to seek legal counsel. Nikhil filed a complaint against Nusrat on March 8, 2021.

Nikhil also admitted to being completely in love with Nusrat. And he wanted to be with her for the rest of my life. But then everything went south. She had no intention of making this marriage legal. He is overjoyed that he won the lawsuit. Mentally, he has progressed, but now he is also legally free.
Nusrat and Nikhil married in the lovely Turkish town of Bodrum in 2019 after the former made her political debut by winning the Lok Sabha elections. While the wedding in Turkey was low-key, the couple later staged a lavish celebration in Kolkata, inviting chief minister Mamata Banerjee. Nikhil had previously stated that Nusrat had refused his pleas to register their marriage. Nusrat, on the other side, had accused Nikhil of misappropriating her assets even after their divorce. Jain refuted the charges, calling them frivolous, insulting, and false.
