Sushant Singh Rajput Conducted A Five-Hour Puja At His Bandra Flat Last Year

A video of Sushant Singh Rajput is now doing the rounds online, where he is seen performing a religious ceremony. The video reportedly dates back to April 9, 2019, in which the actor is seen in the company of his sister Priyanka and his brother-in-law.

According to sources, the Kedarnath actor is performing a Maha Rudrabhishek and Kaal Sarp Dosh puja. The Rudrabhishek is typically performed in the Hindu faith to ward off evil and to gain health, wealth, prosperity and peace of mind.

What is visible from the video is a happy Sushant, singing and participating in the rituals with his family members. 13 priests from Nashik were invited to conduct the five-hour ceremony that took place in his Bandra residence.

It is not clear if there were any underlying worries the family harbored, due to which they were praying for a better future for the Bollywood star.

The late actor’s sister Priyanka Singh was recently in the news for some chats shared by actress Rhea Chakraborty. The WhatsApp conversations pointed towards some tensions between the brother-sister duo. However, Sushant’s family has rubbished this claim and clarified that the Chhichhore actor was in fact the closest to his sister Priyanka.
