Actor Tara Sutaria and Arjun Kapoor have finally jetted off to Goa to commence the second shooting schedule of Ek Villain Returns. The news about their upcoming romantic thriller was shared by the actors themselves on their respective social media accounts. Student of the Year actor Tara Sutaria posted a boomerang video of herself while informing fans that she is gearing up to start the shooting of her upcoming film. She quipped, “Aye Villain! Are you ready? Let’s gooo @arjunkapoor”. On the other hand, even Arjun wasn’t behind to tease his fans. The Sandeep Aur Pinky Farrar star posted a selfie to reply to her co-actor’s post. He wrote, “Aye Villain, let’s do this!!!”.
One thing that caught fan’s attention was their similar choice of clothing. Both Tara and Arjun opted to don the official black-coloured merchandise of the film. The attires of the celebs had their name imprinted on them. Just like the previous version of the film, Ek Villain Returns is also helmed by Mohit Suri. The romantic thriller marks Arjun Kapoor’s collaboration with the director after the release of his 2017 drama film, Half Girlfriend.

The shooting of the film went on floors in the month of March, this year. Apart from Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria, John Abraham and Disha Patani will also headline the lead cast of the film. The first schedule of Ek Villain Returns was shot with Disha and Abraham. Now, keeping in mind the rise in COVID-19 cases in Mumbai, the makers have decided to carry out the further shooting in Goa. As per media reports, the creators have scouted good and safe locations where the filming can be conducted in a smooth manner.

Ek Villain Returns will also mark Disha Patani’s second collaboration with her Malang director. It is highly speculated that Tara may get a chance to sing a song in the film besides acting. The original movie was released in the year 2014 starring Shraddha Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra in the lead roles. Upon its theatrical release, Ek Villain went on to become a massive hit at the box office. Aditya Roy Kapur was earlier a part of its sequel but he decided to exit it, post which Arjun Kapoor came on board.
