Virat Kohli recently took to Twitter to post the video of him playing football and it was an instant hit among his fans, take a look.

Recently, a video of Virat Kohli has gone viral on social media and his fans are loving it. As it turns out, Virat Kohli is not just a talented cricketer, but he is also a very good football player. He loves playing football and excels in that sport as well. In the video which went viral, he was playing with a football on an open ground wearing his Royal Challengers Bangalore uniform. Suddenly, someone asked him to take a free kick and Virat was happy to oblige.

From a considerable distance, Virat kicked the ball and hit the crossbar of the goal post. He missed making a goal by a very small margin, but his fans were impressed nonetheless. He took to Twitter to post the video of him playing football and it was an instant hit among his fans. “Accidental crossbar challenge”, he tweeted. Take a look at his full tweet below.

The video, which instantly went viral on social media, received a whopping number of 1.3 million views on Twitter. Approximately 150 thousand users liked his tweet and almost 2,500 users left appreciative messages in the comment section.

This video comes almost a week after the cricketer announced that his Covid-19 relief campaign has come to an end. He shared on the microblogging platform that they (him and wife Anushka Sharma) have ‘surpassed their target’. All the funds collected will be going to those working tirelessly towards Covid-19 relief. He thanked the fans for their support and mentioned how they would not have been able to raise their target amount without the help of everyone. He also urged everyone to follow Covid-19 protocols such as social distancing and getting vaccinated as soon as possible.

The Covid-19 relief fund was started by the couple in a bid to raise funds for combating the virus. Announcing the launch of their campaign on social media, Virat Kohli wrote, “Anushka and I have started a campaign on @ketto, to raise funds for Covid-19 relief, and we would be grateful for your support. Let’s all come together and help those around us in need of our support. I urge you all to join our movement (sic).”
