This Diwali is special for Bollywood actress Yami Gautam and her husband Aditya Dhar, as this is the first Diwali of them as a couple. Yami and Aditya got married to each other this year in June. The love couple celebrated their first Diwali after marriage with full zeal and left us gushing on them. Yami took to her social media accounts to share the pictures with her husband, filmmaker Aditya Dhar and his family at their new house in Mumbai.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Yami Gautam shared a series of photos from their Diwali celebration. In the first picture, she posed with Aditya while holding a decorated plate. In the other, they posed with his family. Yami captioned the pictures, “Deepawali ki shubhkamnayein (Best wishes for Diwali).” Their house was decked up with rice lights as everyone posed on the balcony.
In the photos, Yami Gautam was seen dolled up in Indian ensembles. She opted for a blue coloured designer kurta with a fine design on it. Traditional bangles and earrings have caught our eyes and how can we forget her contagious smile? She opted for a red tilak on her forehead, which is the sign of a married lady in the Indian tradition. On the other hand, Aditya looked dapper and happy at the same time as he posed with his wife on the auspicious account of Diwali.

Yami talked about her first Diwali with Aditya Dhar to a leading news portal. She said that for her, festivities have always been about spending time with family in Chandigarh. Luckily, through Navratri and Dusshera, she was in her hometown with Aditya. Right after marriage, as per their customs and traditions, they were supposed to visit her husband’s ancestral temple, which they couldn’t due to the pandemic. So, they recently went there to seek blessings.
The actress also added that they are celebrating Diwali at their new home in Mumbai with both their parents coming over. They are very excited as this is their first Diwali after marriage. They’ll be decorating the house with diyas and doing a puja at home. Yami loves this feeling of being at home with her loved ones. The actress feels that home is where your heart belongs. It makes you feel safe and secure. Aditya’s parents are really nice, warm and very loving, concluded the actress.
