What started as Abhi and Pragya’s love story then became Ranbir and Prachi’s love story and is now their daughter Poorvi and her husband Rajvansh aka RV’s love story. Kumkum Bhagya: Recent Storyline
In the recent episodes, we saw RV getting framed in a false case of assault by some random actress called Neha, hired by his own ex-fiance Monisha. While Poorvi leaves no stone unturned to save RV, Monisha’s plans drag him further into trouble. On the other hand, now that Jasbir has gotten involved, he is leaving no opportunity to humiliate RV and separate Poorvi from him. Kumkum Bhagya August 26, 2024 Written Update
In this episode, to Poorvi’s surprise, Neha turns up at the Malhotra house asking RV to marry her and divorce Poorvi. When RV doesn’t comply, she threatens to get him arrested. The whole family is heartbroken as Monisha jumps in joy. She goes and hugs Neha thanking her for all the help when Dadi sees her hugging Neha. However, Monisha being the sweet-talker she is, easily makes up an excuse. She says she was only trying to be friendly to try and sway Neha in their favor, but Dadi doesn’t seem convinced.
Kumkum Bhagya August 27, 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with a disheartened Poorvi talking to Yug and Diya when the latter reminds her of plan B to defeat Neha. Yug and Diya seem to be growing closer, and this upsets Vaishali. Monisha consoles Harleen and promises her that she won’t let Neha marry RV. Later, Khushi argues with Monisha on the street and then goes to RV’s office to give him an earful. Amid the fight, RV threatens to reveal the truth about their past to Poorvi.

While RV and Khushi continue to argue, Poorvi enters and clears Khushi’s misunderstanding. Meanwhile, Sahil reaches Neha’s house and finds Jasbir hiding there. He assumes Neha is cheating on him with Jasbir and beats the latter black and blue.

Poorvi sides with RV and tells Khushi that she trusts him. She assures RV that she won’t let anyone come between them and asks him to pretend to marry Neha to expose her. Meanwhile, when Jasbir doesn’t fight back, Sahil’s assumptions solidify and he breaks up with Neha.

Poorvi and RV get emotional even at the thought of signing divorce papers when Neha arrives with the papers at the house. RV tries to have a candid chat with Neha to convince her to back off, but she remains firm on her decision.

Purvi resists signing the divorce papers and Monisha puts her plan into action. They make her believe that Neha and her boyfriend have patched up and she doesn’t want to marry RV. This leads Purvi and RV to sign the papers.

Once the papers are signed, Neha asks to get engaged and married soon. She informs everyone that she’ll be back with a date for their marriage. Amidst all this, Neha holds RV’s hand, which leads to a huge fallout between Neha, Monisha, and even Jasbir. Eventually, they sort it out while RV and Purvi are seen worrying about the future.
