Just as Netra was jailed for her deeds, Monisha teamed up with her dad Dushyant, and came up with one of her most devious plans ever. Kumkum Bhagya Episode Written Update for January 9, 2025
The episode starts with Yug taking RV to meet Harleen while RV worries about her safety. On the way, RV spots a car, almost hitting an elderly woman. While the driver steps out of the vehicle to shoo away the old woman, RV comes to her rescue. As it turns out, these are the same men who just caused Harleen’s accident. RV, despite being unaware of this, feels a deep sense of rage towards them. He makes the driver apologize to the old woman and the latter leaves after threatening RV. Yug asks what happened to him and RV says that he looks like a good who could’ve done anything bad to his mom. He tries to call Harleen but gets a call from Monisha, who informs him about Harleen’s condition. Back at the Malhotra house, Harman also gets a call about Harleen’s accident and everyone leaves for the hospital in a state of panic.
At the hospital, Purvi, Monisha, and Dushyant bring Harleen on a stretcher. While a nurse stops them, a doctor comes and says that they have special permission to proceed without an FIR as it’s an emergency. Harleen is taken into emergency care while Monisha thanks Dushyant for everything. Dushyant advises her to act heartbroken when RV comes to the hospital. RV reaches the reception desk and frantically asks about his mom. The nurse guides RV and Yug to the emergency room. RV runs to the emergency room loudly calling out to Harleen. Despite being in an unconscious state, Harleen’s body reacts when she hears RV call out to her. The doctor and nurse acknowledge their bond.
RV storms into the emergency room calling out to Harleen. The doctors ask him to wait outside. After a lot of effort, everyone pulls him out of the room. Dushyant tries to calm down RV by telling him that everything will be fine. Monisha also takes this chance to get closer to RV. She hugs him and tries to pacify him. However, the moment his eyes spot Purvi, he moves away from Monisha and starts talking to Purvi. He shares his worries about Harleen and Purvi reassures him that she’ll be fine. She asks him to be strong for Harleen and he melts into her arms crying. RV then continues to tell her how his mom is everything to him. He keeps worrying about her and Purvi tries her best to console him and support him. Monisha breaks this moment and says that Purvi is the one who caused Harleen’s accident. Dushyant silently watches his plan fall into motion.
Meanwhile, Harman and the rest of the family rush into the hospital. They ask for Harleen and sprint towards the emergency room. Suddenly, Dadaji feels a sharp pain in his chest and collapses on the floor. The nurse sees this and immediately calls out to his family. Everyone comes to his rescue. The nurse calls for a doctor, and he instructs the ward boys to take him to an emergency on the stretcher.
Monisha continues to lay allegations against Purvi. RV is shocked and asks her why she would say something like that about Purvi. She says that it’s all Purvi’s doing. When Purvi denies this, Monisha continues to say that she took Harleen to the temple, so why was she alone on the road? She says that Purvi tried to get Harleen killed. Yug tries to defend Purvi but Monisha shuts him up. She continues to accuse Purvi, and when she denies the claims even RV questions Monisha.
Meanwhile, in the other emergency room, the doctor says that it wasn’t a heart attack but Dadaji was really stressed which caused him chest pain. Everyone still seems worried, especially Harman. He says that he will stay with his father. The doctor reassures them that it’s just stress and he just needs to rest and stay away from stress to be better. He tells Harman that Dadaji is medicated and will sleep for a while. He then asks Harman to go and see Harleen.
Monisha continues to question Purvi’s motives. She then says that Purvi is exacting revenge for someone. She slyly puts Khushi’s name into the conversation and says that she probably did it to avenge Khushi. For a second even RV gets convinced and asks Yug to call Khushi. She picks up the call and asks who’s on the other line. RV hangs up the phone without uttering a word. He then says that Purvi can’t do anything like this. Despite Monisha and Dushyant trying to mislead RV, he says that Purvi can never do something like this.
In a desperate attempt to make RV believe her, Monisha says that she’ll find evidence that Purvi is responsible for Harleen’s accident. Just as she’s about to leave, the family walks in and Monisha sees this as an opportunity to turn everyone against Purvi. She tells the family that RV doesn’t believe her but she’s sure that Purvi is the one behind Harleen’s accident. She then says that no matter what, she’ll get proof of Purvi’s involvement in Harleen’s accident and leaves to find proof. Harman and Vaishali refuse to believe that Purvi could harm Harleen. Dushyant also says that he trusts his daughter and says that soon they’ll realize that Purvi is the one responsible for this. Purvi tries to defend herself but Deepiks says that after listening to Monisha and Dushyant even she has her doubts about Purvi.
