In the recent episodes of Kumkum Bhagya, RV saved Purvi from the fire lit by Monisha. However, as usual, Monisha remained unscathed. She already devised a plan to prove her innocence way before Purvi got out. After all this, Khushi confessed her love to RV and asked RV to marry her. The episode starts with Purvi and Diya discussing how, despite the fire, Dadi wanted everything in the house to look the same, and thus they’re bringing identical furniture for the Malhotra house. Diya then asks Purvi to relax since Netra and the problems she created are all gone. Purvi then reveals that it was Monisha who tried to kill her in the fire. She says that Netra took the money, switched sides, and ran away. Purvi then says that she must stop Monisha and get rid of her, no matter the consequences.
Back at the temple, RV shouts at Khushi. He asks whether she even realizes whose Kumkum Bhagya she’s asking for. He says that this Kumkum Bhagya only belongs to Purvi. RV tries to remind her that he only belongs to Purvi, Khushi’s own sister. Khushi tries to dismiss this by saying that his marriage was only a compromise.
RV denies this and says that, unlike some marriages where people fall in love and get married hastily, which later leads to divorce, Purvi and his marriage is different. He says that even though they married under different circumstances, after tying the knot, gradually, they started respecting each other and even liking each other. He tells Khushi that he can die for Purvi and that she already knows what Purvi can do for him. RV then says that although their relationship started because of this Kumkum, now, their relationship is of respect, trust, and liking. It isn’t a compromise but a marriage of completeness, where both of them complete each other.
Khushi tries to deny all this but RV stops her. He says that before Purvi he had fallen in love with a girl, but that girl wasn’t Khushi. It looked like Khushi, but the soul was that of Purvi – A pure soul that keeps others before themselves, a kind-hearted soul. RV then tells Khushi that this might hurt her, but the truth is that Purvi is his soulmate, and he loves her.
Before Khushi could interrupt him again, RV says that he only came here to drop off his wife’s sister, and if she doesn’t want to go, he can leave. He says that his wife will be waiting for him and he’s also eager to see his wife Purvi. A delusional Khushi doesn’t accept this and asks RV to understand his feelings. She says that she’ll talk to Purvi and manage everything.
Without any response, RV goes to the car, takes out the keys, and gives it to Khushi. He asks her to drive herself home and leaves. Khushi says that she has always missed RV and will continue to do so. She says their love is cursed and maybe that’s why it was never fulfilled. RV agrees and says that now, it’ll never be fulfilled. He calls an Auto Rickshaw and leaves.
Outside the Malhotra mansion, Deepika tries to tell Monisha why she’s been losing every time. Monisha in turn gets angry at her and leaves from there. She then meets Purvi. The two argue over everything that has happened throughout the night. Purvi tells Monisha that RV is her husband and asks her what relation she has to RV. Monisha says that RV is her love, and she will get him back.
Monisha then asks Purvi if RV has ever told her that he loves her. Purvi says that he doesn’t need to. She says that love isn’t said but felt, and she has already felt the love RV has for her. She reminds Monisha of all the times RV has come to save Purvi without worrying about his own safety. The two continue to argue over RV, threatening each other. The episode ends with both Purvi and Monisha throwing a challenge that they’ll oust the other person from the Malhotra family’s house within the next 24 hours.
Will Purvi finally succeed in her plans or will Monisha remain unharmed once again? Will RV and Purvi finally confess their love to each other? More importantly, how will Khushi react to this rejection from RV?
