Even Neelam blesses her. However, Lakshmi’s happiness is short-lived and so is ours, as she realizes that all of it was a dream. Still, hopeful of a happy future with Rishi, Lakshmi reaches the Oberoi house to deliver the good news. But before she can say anything, Malishka intervenes and informs Rishi about her pregnancy. Lakshmi is stunned to hear this. The family accepts Malishka and celebrates the good news. A heartbroken Lakshmi locks herself in her room and bawls her eyes out. Rishi and Ayush keep knocking on the door but Lakshmi doesn’t open up.

Rishi and Ayush finally break open the door to Lakshmi’s room. Lakshmi keeps crying and Rishi tries his best to console her. She refuses to listen to his explanations. After an emotional confrontation, Lakshmi tells Rishi that she doesn’t need his help with anything. Meanwhile, Kiran asks Neelam to organize a baby shower for Malishka’s baby. She says this is necessary to show that Malishka is Rishi’s rightful partner and Neelam agrees. Rishi continues to tell Lakshmi that he loves her but she doesn’t believe him. Lakshmi leaves Oberoi House and Rishi continues to cry over in the house.

Lakshmi reaches Rano’s house and lies to her and Shalu about her pregnancy. She says that she did some extra tests at the hospital and found out that it was a false positive and that she is not pregnant. Rano doesn’t believe this, but Shalu explains to her the possibilities of this happening. Rishi asks Neelam not to organize Malishka’s baby shower as it might hurt Lakshmi. However, she refuses to pay any heed to his demands. Meanwhile, Lakshmi goes to the temple and lays her heart out to the goddess. Kiran and Malishka talk about the next steps of their plan to ensure that this baby gets Rishi’s name. Ayush and Anushka argue over Rishi and Malishka’s current situation. Later, Malishka talks to an upset Rishi and tells him that she understands Lakshmi’s pain. Then, Rishi asks her not to hold the baby shower party if she genuinely understands Lakshmi’s heartbreak.

Rishi tries to explain to Malishka how avoiding the baby shower party could help ease Lakshmi’s pain. Malishka agrees with him but then tells him about Neelam’s happiness and how this party would make the family happy. With that comment, she ignores Rishi’s advice and goes ahead with the party preparations. Ayush calls Shalu and asks her to come to the Oberoi house the next day. Lakshmi comes back home and cries herself to sleep while Rishi worries about her. The next day Lakshmi finds out about the baby shower party and around the same time Shalu also discovers about Malishka’s pregnancy. She expresses her anger towards Rishi for cheating on Lakshmi. She asks Lakshmi to move out of the Oberoi House but the latter denies talking about Paro’s rights. Later, Shalu lashes at Rishi for everything while Neelam talks to Lakshmi about the current situation.

Ayush who overheard Shalu and Rishi’s conversation gets upset with her. They get into an argument over her behavior with Rishi. Neelam tells Lakshmi that Malishka and Rishi are entering parenthood and that she is not needed at the Oberoi House anymore. Ayush and Shalu continue to argue over Rishi and Lakshmi. Later, Anushka comes there and argues with Ayush. Meanwhile, Neelam’s conversation leaves Lakshmi in tears. Shalu tries to console her and Lakshmi’s resolve to stay calm for Paro becomes stronger. At the party, Lakshmi acts happy and helps with the arrangements. Later, Lakshmi and Harleen have a heart-to-heart conversion. Meanwhile, Kiran discusses the next steps of their plans with Malishka. Neelam and the others talk to Rishi about the unborn baby. They tell him to cheer up and start feeling happy about becoming a dad. Malishka takes Rishi’s side in front of the family and puts on an act in front of everyone as if she’s a completely changed person. She then takes Rishi aside and pretends to empathize with Lakshmi. She tells him how this pregnancy has completely changed her. Malishka starts crying and hugs Rishi just as Lakshmi walks in. Shalu decides to tell Aayush about Anushka and Neel’s secret. Neel overhears this and decides to get rid of her for good. Rishi tries to talk to Lakshmi but she pushes him away. Meanwhile, Balwinder overhears a staff member talking about Malishka’s pregnancy and finds out about the party.
