All the latest Kumkum Bhagya episodes have been pointing towards one thing – a generation leap. Yes, as heartbreaking as it might be for many of us, our beloved RajVi’s story is about to end. It’s only recently that RV and Purvi were united. However, looks like fate had some other plans. Before we get into today’s heartbreaking episode, and give you the Kumkum Bhagya written update for February 17, 2025, let’s quickly recap what happened over the weekend.
In the episode aired on February 15, 2025, the family reached near the Vaishno Devi Temple. They start hiking the mountain to reach the temple. Armaan asked Purvi to stay back as he wanted to talk to her. Suddenly Monisha and Jassi come out of nowhere and kidnap Purvi. RV and the others start looking for her. Purvi runs away and faints on the road. Some people take her to a nearby doctor’s clinic. There, Purvi gives birth to a baby girl.
In the episode aired on February 16, 2025, Purvi runs away with her baby girl after seeing Monisha and Jassi outside the clinic. RV and family walk past Purvi but they miss each other by a fraction of a minute. Purvi goes to a small Goddess temple nearby, names her daughter Prarthana, and leaves her at the temple for the baby’s safety. Purvi runs into Armaan who flips the game by saying that he’s with Monisha and Jassi. They ask her about the baby wanting to kill her. Purvi says that her baby will live and will be raised by someone like her who is also a devotee of the Goddess. Meanwhile, we see a woman give birth to a girl while her husband prays at the same small goddess temple where Purvi left Prarthana.
Kumkum Bhagya Episode Written Update for February 17, 2025
The episode starts with the man standing at the temple finding out that his daughter is stillborn. He’s shattered to learn about the death of his newborn baby when he hears Prarthana’s cries. He picks her up and wonders whose daughter she is. Meanwhile, Purvi gets cornered by Monisha, Jassi, and Armaan. She begs for her life while RV searches for her. She then grabs the knife from Jassi’s hand and holds Monisha hostage with the knife on her neck. She then asks her to call RV.
The man comes back after not being able to find Prarthana’s mother. The midwife who helped his wife give birth asks the man to adopt the baby girl and think of her as the Goddesses blessing for them. His wife comes out and gets happy seeing Prarthana. She thanks the Goddess for giving her a daughter.
RV picks up Monisha’s call and Purvi informs him about Monisha and Jassi trying to kill her. Monisha tries to talk over her but Purvi shuts her up and tells RV about everything that happened with her. RV recognizes the place where Purvi is and rushes to save her. Armaan feels that RV might be close and goes to get rid of him.
Purvi says that she loves him and RV says it back to her. This agitates Monisha who grabs the knife and stabs Purvi. She stabs her multiple times and RV helplessly watches on from the video call as Monisha stabs Purvi. Armaan hits RV with his car and RV is thrown to the side of the road, with his head bleeding.
Armaan tells RV that Purvi will die and so will RV. He says that with this RV and Purvi’s love story, their vows, everything will come to an end. RV lies there watching Purvi get stabbed and recalls her ordeals. He suddenly gets up, beats Armaan unconscious, takes his car, and drives to save Purvi. He then calls Yug and asks him to send the police to the Helipad to save Purvi.
Purvi takes the phone and hides. RV and Purvi talk on the call. They profess their love and express their wish to live with each other. Monisha and Jassi spot her and rush to kill her. Monisha grabs Purvi by her hair and takes her near the cliff. Jassi asks Monisha to let go of her. He then chastises Purvi for getting married to RV and falling in love with him.
Jassi pushes Purvi from the cliff. RV sees Purvi falling to her death and crashes his car into a tree. Purvi falls into the water while RV lies in his crashed car, unconscious and bleeding. Meanwhile, the man and woman name RajVi’s baby girl Prarthana and apply Kumkum on her feet to symbolize the auspicious beginning of her life.
