Kumkum Bhagya Episode Written Update for January 31, 2025
The episode begins with Khushi reflecting on her circumstances, lamenting the loss of RV’s love and her unfortunate marriage to Armaan. As she sees RV and Purvi hugging, she finds solace in the fact that her sister Purvi has found love with RV.
Monisha shows the hired painter to RV’s room. Armaan searches for RV in the washroom but instead finds Purvi’s dupatta. At this moment, the painter, mistakenly identifying Armaan as Purvi due to the dupatta, stabs him. Realizing his error, the painter flees the scene. Khushi discovers the injured Armaan and rushes him to the hospital. Monisha hears Armaan scream and is confused. As she sees an injured Armaan being escorted by Khushi to the hospital, she checks the room only to find blood spilled on the floor. Out of panic, she cleans the blood.
Meanehile, Purvi shares with RV her hidden talent for writing. She reveals that during Khushi’s time at a magazine company, Khushi wasn’t keen on writing political or social articles, so Purvi secretly wrote them in her place. This revelation leads RV to realize that it was Purvi’s writing he had fallen in love with before meeting her. Overwhelmed, RV opens his heart to Purvi, confessing that he had been in love with her all along without even realizing it. He assures her that she is his one true love. Purvi tells him that there are his enemies who are masquerading as friends. RV tells her to reveal the name but she says not now and seeks his support when the time comes.
At the hospital, Khushi reflects on the abuse meted out to her by Armaan. She remembers Purvi’s words about money not being everything in this world. Khushi resolves divorcing Armaan after his recovery.
As it starts to rain, RV and Purvi rush to their room. RV notices Purvi’s hair soaked from the rain. He grabs a towel and gently dries it for her, and this sweet, caring moment brings them even closer. In the moment of pure love, they share an intimate moment. The morning after, both smile coyly.
At the police station, Jasbir keeps trying to get the inspector’s attention, but the inspector snaps, threatening to throw him in the back cell if he doesn’t stop yelling. Jasbir then asks to call his uncle, only to be told that his uncle has already refused to bail him out. Jasbir is stunned. Just then, Purvi shows up and asks to see Jasbir.
