After making a heart-throbbing debut with Heropanti, Tiger Shroff made another entry with a blockbuster action film Baaghi in 2016. Appreciated for his action skills and undisputedly fantasizing looks, Tiger Shroff joined Shraddha Kapoor in his second film which was directed by Sabbir Khan.

The trailer gave us a glimpse of action-romance with a hint of thriller and comedy. The plot is based on a Rebel lover Ronny played by Tiger Shroff who fell in love with a jolly girl namely Sia, played by Shraddha Kapoor. There is a villain in every fairy tale and so is here. A baddie named Raghav brings the twist to the story and gives it a different angle.

A 2016 release in Hindi-language in the Indian cinema, Baaghi is an action thriller film. It was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala with Baaghi director Sabbir Khan. 

The Hindi version starred Tiger Shroff and Sharaddha Kapoor in the lead roles and Sunil Grover in the supporting role. Baaghi Movie release date was 29 April 2016 and also available to stream on Zee5. 

Baaghi Movie Plot

The movie starts with flashbacks of a love angle between the character of a Rebel Ronny and a cheerful girl, Sia who falls in love on a train. They later are found hitting the station dancing and rejoicing in the rain where the villain or the antagonist of the film Raghav who is a Kalaripayattu champion, sees her and maniacally falls for her.

Raghav befriends Sia's father P.P. Khurana and lures him with bundles of money to let him marry her daughter. Even after knowing that her daughter is in love with Ronny, money-minded Khurana continues to sell her daughter to Raghav. Ronny becomes a student of Kerala Academy of Kalaripayattu under Guruswamy who teaches him the value of rebellion with a cause. 

Blinded by the money, Khurana rats everything between Sia and Ronny out to Raghav, who swears to kill Ronny. Guruswamy overhears about their plan and tries to stop it, but Raghav kills him by poisoning him to death. After a confrontation of Ronny with Raghav in Guruswamy's funeral, Khurana decides to plan an atmosphere of misunderstanding that results in Ronny and Sia to part ways. 

Now in the present Ronny is convinced by Khurana to rescue her daughters who have been abducted by Raghav to Bangkok and the later story revolves around the same. Ronny successfully rescues Sia after which they both come back to India and he becomes a new teacher in the Guruswamy's school of martial arts.

Baaghi Lead Cast Performance

Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor who played the leading roles in the Baaghi movie were praised for their acting as well as the stunts and action scenes. We all know that Tiger Shroff is a master of martial arts in Bollywood, but some of the action scenes done by Shraddha Kapoor in the film were also highly recognised by the critics and the audience as well.

Sudheer Babu who was leading for the role of the antagonist of the movie reflected his capabilities by showcasing his brilliance in his speech and expressions as this was his first Hindi movie ever.
