Lakshmi

Lakshmi is a 1982 drama starring Raj Babbar, Reena Roy, Ranjeet and others. A poor Lakshmi gets married to a rich Vijay. They have a son Ajay. Vijay dies in an accident. Lakshmi is blamed and tortured by her in-laws. She has to leave home even though she is pregnant. She becomes a dancer in a red light area and keeps her daughter in a boarding school. When a man lusts after her daughter she poisons and kills the man. Her son who went abroad to study, defends her in court.
