Leader: A Movie of a Real Leader 

An unexpected, powerful, and unique script written and directed by Sekhar Kammula for the movie Leader has been like a whiff of fresh breeze to the Telugu film industry.  The best and most sincere political film ever produced in India. The movie was released on 19th February 2010 in Indian theaters and available to watch on Zee5. The movie is a political drama made by AVM Productions.

Richa Gangopadhyay as Archana Prasad (TV channel reporter). Priya Anand acted in the role of Ratna Prabha, a news reporter. Suman is CM Sanjeevayya, Arjun's father who gets assassinated, and Suhasini Maniratnam is Rajeswari Devi, Arjun's mother.

The Leader Movie Plot 

The Andhra Pradesh CM, Sanjeevayya, dying wish was for his son Arjun Prasad to take over as chief minister. Dhanunjay, Arjun's cousin, wants to succeed him as Chief Minister. In order to complete his father's dream of reducing corruption in society and enlist Ali to quietly win the support of his party's MLAs and news reporter Ratna also joins the team.

When facing opposition from inside his own party in his fight against corruption, Arjun devises a scheme to romance Archana, the daughter of Alliance Party leader Munuswamy. His attempts to win her over were successful, and he saves his government while Archana stays away from him. Arjun's mother Rajeswari Devi criticizes the action and warns that it could weaken morality and result in corruption. She passed away that night. 

Arjun decides to continue with his anti-corruption campaign and steps down that same evening. After forming a new party and fleeing his uncle’s party, Arjun wins the subsequent election. He makes an effort to gain Archana back.

The Performance of the Leader Cast

The leader is a full drama movie tinged with love and romance in the second half of the movie. It represents the best of intellectual filmmaking. The script could not turn out to its best without the excellent performance of every member of the cast, as well as the editing and direction of the movie are appreciable. 

As the young Chief Minister, Rana did an excellent job. He was naturally fitting the character and each scene of the movie. The movie's dialogues were powerful, energetic, and naturally presented by Rana. The music in the Leader is the movie's biggest plus. “Maa Telugu Thalli” and “Vandemataram” were used by Mickey Meyer in the soundtrack. 

The leader clearly brought the aim and vision of the writer of overcoming the problem of corruption, the influence of money and power, and cast with the help of a good leader.
