Daring Rakhwala: A Fight For Survival Among the Zombies

Daring Rakhwala is the Hindi dubbed version of the 2016 released Tamil movie, Miruthan. The film is an Action-Thriller with the main focus on the zombies and a man known to save all to ensure his family's safety and remove the virus from the state.

The movie is written and directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan, who carefully depicts the zombie segment to carry the audience through the whole film and make it as entertaining and enchanting as possible.

The movie's cast includes Jayam Ravi in the lead role as Karthik, Lakshmi Menon as Dr. Renuka, Anikha Surendran as Vidhya, Jeeva Ravi as Chief Dr. Dharan, Amit Bhargav as Dr. Naveen, and other supporting cast members.

Daring Rakhwala Plot

The film starts with a scene portraying a dog licking a poisonous substance and turning unstable. He then bites a security guard, which makes him turn into a Zombie and marks the beginning of a terrible outbreak in Ooty.

The main protagonist of the story, Karthik is a traffic police officer in Ooty who is an orphan and also has the responsibility to take care of his sister Vidhya. He also loves Dr. Renuka, but never felt confident to propose to her as she had got engaged with an NRI Dr. Naveen where Karthik was just a mere traffic police.

The movie takes a turn when Karthik enters into an argument with Minister Gurumoorthy. The next day his sister goes missing when the zombie outbreak breaks through furiously in his area. The police shoot the zombies to save themselves and other citizens.

Karthik also does the same and is asked to come to a certain place to get his sister back. When Karthik reaches there, he discovers that Minister Gurumoorthy is Renuka's father and that Renuka and other doctors are trying to find an antidote.

As the movie proceeds, Karthik also discovers that the zombies are allergic to water, and they use this as an advantage. Karthik's sister Vidhya is found to be unaffected by the zombie bite, and the doctors try to use this quality to build up the vaccine.

They all had shifted to a mall but now want to return to the hospital to make the vaccine. Karthik escorts them but realises that Renuka is left inside the mall, but unfortunately, while saving Renuka, he gets attacked by the zombies.

Will he be able to survive and tell his feelings to Renuka or die?
