Karthik is a Kannada drama movie starring Karthik Shetty and Archana Gupta. The story revolves around two lovebirds whose relationship is bitterly opposed by the girl's father. The story takes an unexpected turn when the girl and her father get kidnapped, and it is up to the boy to rescue them. Karthik has enough twists and turns to keep the audience glued to their seats.

The plot of Karthik movie 

This Kannada movie’s plot centres on Karthik, a poor boy, and a rich girl named Nisha. Karthik falls in love with Nisha, who happens to be his childhood friend. Nisha’s father, a business tycoon named Vijay Raj, opposes this relationship. He is instigated by his friend J.K., who wants Nisha to be married to his son. J.K. and his son want to usurp the business and the property of Nisha’s father. J.K kidnaps Vijay Raj and Nisha. Karthik fights the villains and rescues both of them. In the end, Vijay Raj realises his folly and gives his consent to the marriage of his daughter with Karthik.

The cast of this action flick comprises Mumbai-based Kannadiga actor Karthik Shetty, Archana Gupta, Milind Gunaji, Sudha Belawadi, Avinash, and Venu Gopal. 

Satish Shetty is the director of Karthik as well as the playwright, and the producer is S. Venugopal. The cinematography is handled by Mujunatha Nayaka, the music is composed by John P. Varkey, and the editing work by Shan Mohammad.
