Khanderaya asks Bal Ganesh to go to Kailas mountains. He also orders Nandi to meet Banu and accept the offerings meant for Mahadev. Nandi comes to Banu and asks her for the offering. Banu dutifully offers laddus to Nandi. Khanderaya tells Mhalsa that as promised he did come to the palace but in the form of an ascetic. Mhalsa comes to know that her messengers are returning from Chandanpuri and would bring Banu's reply to her offer. Pradhanji learns from the messengers that Banu has rejected Mhalsa's offer.
