Jyoti: An Interesting Family Drama

Family drama and action genre serves as the basis for the film. The focus of the film is a sophisticated family with two sons. One of the sons isn't old enough to handle his obligations, but the other son was very crafty and came into contact with some vengeful people who were the source of his money. 

They were both the sons of a very wealthy zamindar. Gauri (Hema Malini), the daughter of a poor farmer. Wealthy Zamindar wants Gauri to marry his younger son; however, Gauri ends up marrying Govind (played by Jeetendra) who is unstable mentally.

Jyoti Movie Plot

After his first wife passed away, Raja Sahab (wealthy Zamindar) married Rani Sunanda. The zamindar had two sons: Govind Pratap singh (Jeetendra), who is mentally unstable and is being raised by his step-mom, and Niranjan Pratap singh (Vijayendra Ghatge), who is incredibly intelligent but fell under the wrath of a vengeful diwan amirchand. 

Gauri is the village-dwelling farmer's daughter. One day, a zamindar saw Gauri challenging Niranjan Pratap Singh for his harshness against the enslavement of people. The zamindar gets impressed and then decides his younger son Niranjan Pratap Singh to marry Gauri, but his wife Sunanda is against it because of social differences. 

She insisted, however, that the zamindar marry Gauri to his elder son, Govind. Following their marriage, Gauri and Govind began their journey toward a fresh future. Gauri encountered many difficulties from her own family members when she first moved into her new house. Then Gauri made the decision to change his husband so that he would accept responsibility for his actions and fight for his issues. 

Govind Pratap and Gauri saved Niranjan Pratap from Diwan Amirchand after the latter deceived him in order to amass his fortune. Their family was reunited in this manner, and their story ended happily.
