A fully functioning hotel with a mysterious room, numbered 1406 comes to the limelight when Trisha's brother, a freelance reporter, meets his end under suspicious conditions. In spite of the several warnings by the staff, Trisha's brother had insisted on staying in the room haunted by Manjali's ghost. Although the case belongs to the police, Agent Raghav and his men of intelligent officers, decide to investigate the case personally. Agent Raghav later, disguises as an enthusiastic movie writer and insists on staying in room number 1406.
