Plot of Mahabharat TV Show

The story of the Hindi TV show Mahabharat starts with Emperor Bharata showing the birth of Bhishma, Pandavas, Kauravas, Pandu, Dhritarashtra, and Vidur; later depicts the childhood of Lord Krishna. The Guru of Pandavas and Kauravas challenges them to defeat Drupada. Lost in the battle; Pandavas share half of their kingdom with Drona. After several events, Duryodhan serves as the crown prince of Hastinapur. In the swayamvar of Draupadi, Arjuna wins but later she is married to all five Pandavas. During Rajsuya Yagna, Duryodhana is insulted by Draupadi for which she along with Pandavas was sent for an exile of 12 years followed by another year in anonymity.
