Sandwich: A Perfect Combination of Comedy and Romance

Sandwich tells a simple yet captivating story about an aspiring writer, Sher Singh, who heads to Mumbai with dreams of becoming a writer. He falls in love with his college friend Nisha, a daughter of a rich person. Sher eventually leaves Nisha and returns to his hometown. However, he ends up marrying because of his parents. The entire story is built in mysterious acts while still keeping a touch of comedy throat.

Sandwich Movie: Basic Details

Sandwich: Double Trouble is a Hindi comedy film that stars Raveena Tandon, Mahima Chaudhry, and Govinda, who played dual roles. The director of the film is Anees Bazmee. Moreover, the sandwich movie has been put up for release since 2003 but got delayed for three years and released in 2006. The original title of the film was Hum do Hamara Ek - which means 'we are one.' The idea behind this remake came from an earlier movie named Hum Do Hamara Ek, which had many of the same actors.

Sandwich Movie Plot

Sher Singh left his home, his mother, and his disabled sister to go to Mumbai to become a successful man. He also changed his name from Sher Singh to Shekar, met Nisha, and fell in love with her. To avoid scandalising Nisha's family, Shekhar promised to marry Nisha after four days. But upon returning home four days later, Shekhar was surprised. His family had arranged his engagement to Sweety, a girl he had known since childhood. 

Shekhar's mother explained that this was all because of Nisha. Sweety loved Shekhar but, due to tradition, did not want to wait for Shikhar's marriage before getting married herself, which is why she proposed this plan. Shekhar accepted this because even though it meant giving up on marrying Sweety, he still wanted something good for his sister and agreed, knowing there was no other way out of this situation. 

So for the day, Shekhar would stay with Sweety, and at night he would stay with Nisha. When both meet to discuss this arrangement on one particular evening, they discover that another individual looking just like Shekhar has made an entrance claiming himself to be Shekhar, leaving many questions about who he was.
