Abhi’s grandmother refuses to acknowledge Tanu’s baby as the heir to the family. Tanu’s dad tells about Abhi and Tanu’s love affair before Abhi’s marriage and it shocks Grandma. While Abhi explains that Tanu wished to build her career first, Tanu says that Abhi married Pragya only to please his Grandma. Abhi decides to abide by Grandma’s decision and leaves the house. Tanu thanks Aliya for her intervention. Tanu threatens Grandma and Indu that she would separate Abhi from them.
