Tatya Guru dares Sleeman to arrest all of them! On the other hand, Gangadhar is furious at his betrayal. His conscience tries to convince him about Laxmibais noble intentions but in vain. Sleeman warns Gangadhar that East India Company would be compelled to snatch the administrative rights of Jhansi if the anarchy continues. However, he suggests that if Kranti Guru is also sent to Fort William along with Marshall's dead body within a day, then Gangadhar could continue to be the king. Laxmibai deeply regrets betraying Gangadhar's trust, and for forgetting her duties as a wife after Prachi's death. Gangadhar is furious with Laxmibai for not trusting her husband or the King of Jhansi. He informs her that Jhansi would be annexed if he did not give away Kranti Guru to the British. Laxmibai agrees to surrender herself to the British as Kranti Guru but the king warns her not to. He then gives her a days time to think whether she wants to remain the Queen of Jhansi or Kranti Guru. Once the king leaves, Laxmibai starts to clutch her stomach in pain. What is the matter with the queen?
