Pooja Movie: Story of Retribution

Pooja is a  Tamil movie but was later dubbed into Telugu. The fascinating acting of the cast, the setting, the dialogues, and the effects of the movie powerfully present the story of the movie. The fight in the Pooja movie makes it full of drama and action. 

The Telugu dubbed movie Pooja is an untold story of Vasudevan, played by Vishal, who is fighting for justice and safeguarding the people from Anna Thandavam (acted by Mukesh Tiwari). Pooja is largely a complete drama with many elements that go along with a happy family, misunderstandings, a clever villain, and attacks on loved ones which further prompt the revenge in this drama and action movie. 

Pooja Movie Basic Details 

Pooja is an Indian Tamil-language action film released in 2014, written and directed by Hari. The movie was later dubbed into Telugu language and available to stream on the Zee5 OTT platform. Vishal produced the movie and also the film's main lead. The soundtrack and score for the movie were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. On the other hand, Priyan and V. T. Vijayan were in charge of the film's cinematography and editing, respectively. 

The movie has a powerful plot. The movie is full of action and is entirely acted by strong actors like Vishal as the heir to Kovai Group, Vasudevan "Vasu" Ramaswamy. Shruti Haasan accompanied him as his love, Divya, in the movie. Soori played the role of Kutti Puli, Sathyaraj as Sivakkozhundhu, and Mukesh Tiwari as the movie's antagonist, Anna Thandavam.  

Pooja Movie Plot

His mother disowned Vasudevan "Vasu" over a misunderstanding. Later in the movie, Vasu protects Sivakozhunthu, the assistant superintendent of police for Coimbatore District, and his wife from a group of thugs working for Anna Thandavam. Sivakozhunthu was relocated to Coimbatore from Tirunelveli to look into the case of Anna Thandavam. However, the latter had planned to kill him. 

Vasu's late father Rathnaswamy sold land to a small temple, and Anna Thandavam intended to seize that land illegally. He then attacks Vasu's uncle Ramaswamy, who officially sold the land to the temple. No later, Vasu engages in combat with Anna Thandavam, beating him up in front of the whole public.

The movie brings the full drama fight mode between Vasu and Anna Thandavam. Vasu protected everyone other than his mother, Rajalakshmi, who was killed in the temple by Anna's wife. 

The Performance of the Pooja Cast

Vishal does a great job as the lead. His acting made the script and the whole movie more powerful. Shruti Haasan made the Pooja movie more appealing through her beauty and elegant looks in the movie. Alongside, Sathyaraj's portrayal of the fierce ADSP Shivram Nayak was very insightful to watch. Although his involvement is unfortunately short, he has a couple of strong passages acting roles in the movie. 

The audience also enjoyed Soori's act and his absurd one-liners. The action drama humorously added humor to Soori's performance. The movie was incomplete and could have been weak in the absence of Mukesh Tiwari, who played a great role as the antagonist Anna Thandavam in the story.
