Rani feels that she does not belong in this big household, where everyone unnecessarily gossips and gets angry about trivial things. Having Chandra and Anandamoyee’s love and support gives her some solace and strength to adapt to changes. Chandra is relieved to know that Rani has Anandamoyee’s support. Rani sings in praise of Lord Raghubir but is still scolded by Didimaa. All her efforts are disregarded by the Marh women simply because they are not as per the manners of the royal household.
