Knowing that Mohini can feel the pain of her sufferings, Siya punishes herself to coerce Mohini into apologising to Saroj Devi. Later, she solves another riddle and learns that the fifth object hidden by Rajeshwari was a ‘payal’, an anklet, in a golden egg and successfully obtains it. Heeding to Mohini’s demand, Siya gives her the ‘payal’ which burns Mohini as soon as she touches it. While Mohini screams in agony, Durga Dai conveys some past events and warns Siya against helping her.
