Rachna feels depressed learning about Kabir's presence and begins to weep in front of the entire family. The family tries their best to console her and succeed to an extent. Meanhwile, Bindya successfully intoxicates Vikram and manages to get him home. On the other hand, Mayank promises Gunjan that he will kiss her in front of everybody. Gunjan does not believe him and challenges him to do so. Rachna once again begins to feel miserable that Kabir, who had gone away from her life had once again made an abrupt entry, and brought back all the memories that she wanted to get rid of. Meanwhile, the new year count down begins and Mayank, as promised, kisses Gunjan and wins the challenge. Will this new year bring Rachna and Kabir together once again?
