Jodha Akbar

A period drama set in 16th century India, Jodha Akbar depicts the timeless love story of the valiant Mughal emperor Akbar and his fiery Rajput wife Jodha. A marriage of convenience and a step towards strengthening political ties, Jodha and Akbar embark on a new journey together. The show portrays the political situations in the 1500s, the wars which had taken place during that time, Akbars relationship with his family members and subjects, and what made Akbar get the title of ‘Jalaluddin.
