Plot of Bhagya Lakshmi TV Show

Lakshmi Bajwa is a sweet and innocent Punjabi Hindu village girl who believes in helping people. After her parent's deaths, she and her younger sisters, Shalu and Bani, are driven to Mumbai by their selfish aunt, Rano Bajwa. Rano attempts to marry Lakshmi to a drunken driver named Balwinder to seize Manoj's (Lakshmi's father's) property since Manoj's dying wish was for Lakshmi to be blissfully married. Rishi Oberoi, an industrialist, is saved by Lakshmi. Actually, Rishi had "Markesh Dosh" in his horoscope, which brought him life-threatening problems. Neelam (Rishi's mother) consults a priest about Lakshmi's horoscope and discovers that she is lucky for Rishi and has the ability to save his life. As a result, she marries them. Rishi already has a girlfriend named Malishka, whom he plans to marry after divorcing Lakshmi in a year. Lakshmi falls in love with Rishi after her marriage, but she learns the truth about her marriage. Rishi realises his feelings for Lakshmi and confesses his thoughts to her, but she rejects him and asks him to marry Malishka for his family's happiness.
