83 Box-office Collection Day 6: Ranveer Singh Starrer Cricket Biopic Film Follows Descending Order At Ticket Window

83 is a cricket based film directed by Kabir Khan that stars Ranveer Singh as Indian cricketer Kapil Dev. The film also stars Deepika Padukone as she played the role of Kapil’s wife Romi in the film. It was their first collaboration together after their marriage. The film revolves around the victory of the Indian cricket team in the world cup match that took place in 1983.

The film that was released on December 24, impressed the audience well and dragged them to the theatres. But, unfortunately, the box-office collection of the film is not what was expected. The film on its day 6 of release i.e., on December 29 collected Rs 5.67 crores. After collecting this much amount the grand total of 83 at the box-office becomes Rs 66.66 crore.

However, the film is experiencing a downfall in the numbers with each day passing by. On day 5 of its release, December 28, the film 83 collected Rs 6.70 crore. If we notice the numbers collected at the box-office by film 83, a descending order can be seen. It was only on its first weekend that the film collected a huge amount.

Even if the film has impressed the audience, it is not able to attract more amount of people to the theatres. As a result, the numbers at the box-office are dropping every day. Only a few days are left in the hands of the film to gain more and get back into the race of box-office. There are other films that are rushing to take a theatrical release which can affect the collection of the film 83.

Alia Bhatt starrer RRR is already on its way to hitting the large screens. The film will be released on January 6, 2022, in theatres worldwide. It has to be seen if the film breaks the record of Ranveer Singh starrer 83 or performs even better at the ticket window.
