Apna Time Bhi Aayega: 5 Instances When Jai Singh’s Life Proved “You Reap What You Sow”

Samaksh Sudi in Apna Time Bhi Aayega plays the role of Jai Singh Shekhawat, a despicable character, who has time and again proved his immorality in the show. He is the Prince of Gwalior who was supposed to get married to Nandini (Sehrish Ali). However, because of committing loathsome actions, Jai Singh has also always paid dearly for all his crimes, making him the perfect example of ‘you reap what you sow.’ Here are six instances from the show that prove the same.

When he forced himself on Rani

Jai Singh’s actions have always been questionable and suspicious. Once, when Rani (Megha Ray) found out about his suspicious activities and questioned him for the same, he forced himself upon her. He paid for this action dearly, as this led to him getting beaten up by Veer (Fahmaan Khan) and his alliance with Nandini was broken. On top of it all, he was also thrown out of the palace.

Trying to get Rani killed

Jai Singh’s spite for Rani only grew worse, and he once tried to get her killed at the hands of the pandits by making her enter a temple when unmarried women weren’t allowed to. Yet again his despicable plans were foiled, as Veer and Rani then got married. In fact, this marriage led to more problems for him in the future.

His misdeeds with Champa

From the time that he had entered the palace, Jai Singh had been exploiting the palace’s maid, Champa, thinking there could be no repercussions to his actions. Earlier, even Champa used to be scared, However, the tables have now turned, as she has now started blackmailing Jai Singh, putting him into trouble for his own actions.

Using Nandini for his schemes

Being unwilling to carry out his own crimes, Jai Singh once made Nandini steal money for him, thinking he would not face any problems. However, he got caught in trying to get Nandini to steal for him and once again, fell in the eyes of everyone at the palace.

Kidnapping Rani

After somehow making his way into the palace again, Jai Singh once again showed everyone why he is always the enemy, by kidnapping Rani and keeping her in the harshest of conditions. Not only did this make him the subject of everyone’s hatred again, but even fell into his own trap, as Veer is currently getting his revenge from him. He has now kept Jai Singh tied up and is not even giving him a drop of water to drink – just like he had been treating Rani when he kidnapped her.
