Pookalam Varavayi: Here’s how Samyuktha and others can counter Kalyani’s use of faith as a weapon

Pookalam Varavayi experienced a completely unexpected twist when Kalyani, who we all thought to be one of the few good Kalapurackal members, actually turned out to be the biggest mastermind. She has joined hands with Sharmila and Saudamini and is now actually planning ways to ruin Samyuktha and Abhimanyu’s life. And what is her biggest weapon? Faith! The religious faith within Samyuktha, Saptathi and others combined with their trust in Kalyani might prove to be a lethal combination.

In the recent episodes, we saw Kalyani being revealed as the newest mastermind in Kalapurackal. In a shocking series of events, we got to know that she was the one behind the attempts of murder on Samyuktha and Abhimanyu during their Kshetra Yatra. And now she’s planning for more with Saudamini. If her previous conversations with Saudamini are any hints, she’s surely planning something big and Samyuktha will have to counter her soon.

Kalyani tried to get Samyuktha killed not once or twice, but three times during a single religious trip. This could have been avoided had they not hastily taken a decision to go for the Kshetra Yatra. Hence, we feel that in future, Samyuktha and Abhimanyu should think well before making any decisions.

Kalyani was already prepared by the time Samyuktha and Abhimanyu came back home. She knows it really well that Saptathi is the most religious person in the house and thus targeted her. Kalyani started talking about how she had some vision of impending danger. Here, we feel, Saptathi should talk about all this to Samyuktha, Harshan and others to get a perspective. She should also try to think rationally whether a thing like getting visions of the future is even possible.

Kalyani has also started brainwashing Abhimanyu. In fact, she has been doing that since the moment she stepped foot in Kalapurackal. Knowing how easy it is for Abhimanyu to get manipulated, we feel he should look back on why he was an atheist in the first place and not trust everything Kalyani says blindly. He should question every suggestion she gives before following them hastily.

Moreover, Samyuktha isn’t quick to trust anyone. She should bring back this quality of her. We observed how sceptical she was initially when the special ceremony was suggested by Kalyani. Samyuktha needs to get that scepticism back so that she doesn’t blindly follow anything and can save herself from future trouble.
