Liger: Vijay Deverakonda Resumes Shooting Of His Bollywood Debut Film In Full Swing

Vijay Deverakonda is pulling his sleeves to complete the shoot of his highly anticipated film Liger. Puri Jagannath directorial Liger is the Bollywood debut of the south sensation Vijay Deverakonda. The shooting of the film was put on hold due to the second wave of Covid-19. Deverakonda took to Twitter and shared a picture from the sets, and revealed that they have resumed the filming.

Taking to his Twitter handle Vijay Deverakonda shared a BTS photos from the sets and wrote, “Blood. Sweat. Violence. #Linger Shoot resumes”. In the picture shared, he can be seen resting in a caged MMA ring. He also flaunts a tattoo in the latest photo, his cornrows haircut with a ponytail can also be seen. In the picture, Vijay is even flaunting his back muscles.

The makers are planning to have a 25-day long shoot schedule. The team will majorly film action episodes and also some talkie parts. Vijay Deverakonda will be seen as a mixed martial arts expert and he even underwent rigorous training for the role.

 

Talking more about the film, Ananya Pandey will be the leading lady opposite Vijay Deverakonda in the film. Liger also stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Ali, Makarand Deshpande, Getup Srinu, Abdul Quadir Amin, and several others in key roles. Other than directing the film, Puri Jagannath will also be producing Liger along with Karan Johar. The technical crew of Liger includes composer Mani Sharma and editor Junaid Siddiqui. Vishnu Sharma is in charge of handling the cinematography of the film. Kecha from Thailand is the stunt director.

 

The Pan-India film Liger along with Hindi is being shot simultaneously in the Telugu language. The film will also be dubbed in different other languages including Tamil movie, Kannada, and Malayalam.

 

After Liger, Vijay Deverakonda is likely to shake hands with Tuck director Shiva Nirvana. As per the online reports, the pre-production work of the film is currently underway. More details about the cast and crew will be announced once the project goes on the floors. The film is touted to be a romantic action entertainer. The film is yet-to-be titled.
