Sanya Malhotra Shares An Incident From Her Latest Digital Movie – Deets Inside

Sanya Malhotra’s most recent film was a digital platform film in which she was required to wear cotton and silk sarees, which she confessed to adoring. Sanya has now revealed that she enjoyed dressing up in sarees so much that she stole a few from the sets after the film wrapped.

Sanya was seen recalling an incident from the year 2021 while filming her digital film shortly after her first lockdown. She was overjoyed because, for the first time in a long time, she was facing the cameras on set and having a great time getting ready for her role. The actress admitted that she still has a saree from the set that she stole. She had also worn that sari to a wedding of one of her friends.

Sanya plays the lead role in the film, alongside Abhimanyu Dassani, who plays her husband. In the film, the actor portrayed a fierce, independent Madurai girl. Their life as newlyweds navigating a long-distance relationship was the focus of the story. The film was directed and written by Vivek Soni.

Sanya was overheard saying in one of the interviews that she fell in love with the film as soon as she heard the script and knew she wanted to be a part of it as if it was love at first sight. When she first heard the story, she was able to relate to it. The character also spoke to me on a number of levels. Another factor that drew me to the character and the script was the desire to watch a simple love story as an audience member.

Sanya will now play the wife of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in Sam Bahadur. In the Meghna Gulzar biopic, Vicky Kaushal plays Sam Manekshaw. She’s also working on a crime thriller with Vikrant Massey called Love Hostel, as well as a few other projects.
