Actor Nani reviews Deva Katta’s Republic and congratulates the team

Deva Katta’s Republic, starring Sai Dharam Tej, Aishwarya Rajesh and Ramya Krishna was released on October 1 and Telugu actor Nani watched the special screening of the film and had some words of appreciation.

What did Nani say?

He tweeted that with Republic Deva Katta has made a strong comeback. He also appreciated the film and congratulated the entire team for their hard work.

Movie must be released as planned: Sai Dharam Tej

Sai Dharam Tej had met with a bike accident on September 10 but he insisted that the film, as planned, should release on October 1.

The prinicipal photography of the film was started in early 2020, but shooting and the release were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Shooting started in December 2020. Reports state that Nivetha Pethuraj was earlier cast for Aishwarya’s role in the film.

There were several postponements of the film’s release. The dates were shifted from June 2021 to August 2021 and finally to October 1, 2021.

Republic is a political thriller. Sai Dharam Tej plays Panja Abhiram, a young collector while Aishwarya Rajesh plays the female lead as Myra Hansom. Jagapathi Babu is essaying the role of Dashrath and Ramya Krishna plays Vishakha vani.

Prasthanam was showcased at The International Film Festival of India in the Indian Panorama Section. He  including Filmfare South Critics Award for Best Film and Nandi Award for Best Feature Film in 2010.
