Actress Hema Malini And Prasoon Joshi To Be Honoured With Indian Film Personality Of The Year At IFFI In Goa – DEETS INSIDE

The Indian Film Personality of the Year Award for 2021 will be given to legendary actress Hema Malini and lyricist Prasoon Joshi during the International Film Festival of India in Goa. Anurag Thakur, the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, announced the news on Twitter. 

Hema Malini is affectionately referred to as Bollywood’s Dream Girl. The actress, who was born into a Brahmin family in Tamil Nadu, made her acting debut in the Tamil film Idhu Sathiyam in 1963. The actor entered Bollywood in 1986 and landed the main part in the love film ‘Sapno Ka Saudagar’ alongside legendary superstar Raj Kapoor, leaving a great impression on each of her followers with her exceptional demeanour.

Anurag Thakur, Member of Parliament from Mathura, Uttar Pradesh was thrilled to present the names of Ms Hema Malini, Actor, and Mr Prasoon Joshi, Lyricist and Chairman, CBFC as the Indian Film Personality of the Year 2021.  Anurag Thakur tweeted this and expressed his delight.  Their contributions to Indian film have spanned decades, and their corpus of work has captivated viewers of all ages. They are international film legends who are liked and revered all over the world. They will get this honour at India’s 52nd International Film Festival in Goa. Hema Malini is an actor-turned-politician, for those who are unfamiliar with her. In 2000, she was also given the Padma Shri award. Prasoon Joshi, on the other hand, is the chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

Samantha has been asked to speak at the International Film Festival of India in Goa, which will take place in the second week of November, according to multiple sources. Samantha, who is well-known in the South, has gotten a lot of positive feedback from Hindi fans and Bollywood celebrities for her role as Raji in the online web show on a digital platform.
