Owing to the pandemic, many films have been released on the OTT platform due to the pandemic. But, today Indian film critic and film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle and shared the official statement from Pen Studios which read that Alia Bhatt’s movie Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR along with John Abraham’s action entertainer Attack will have a cinematic release. However, earlier it was rumoured that the above movies will have an OTT release but, now all the real news is out.
“We would like to clarify that Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR and Attack will release in cinemas. There have been several rumours doing rounds about these films releasing on OTT platforms before cinemas which are untrue. These magnum opus films are made for the big screen experience and would be releasing in theatres,” said Dr Jayantilal Gada, chairman and MD of Pen Studios said in the offical statement.
Fans retweeted Taran Adarsh’s post in large numbers as they eagerly anticipate Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR looks and alluring acting skills in the movie.
Alia Bhatt stunned everyone with her never-seen-before looks and acting in Gangubai Kathiawadi and as the movie will have a cinematic release and not an OTT release it adds up to the glory of the film. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has directed Gangubai Kathiawadi and the entire film was majorly shot during the pandemic. Meanwhile, S Rajamouli’s RRR has a release date which is on 13th October. The star-studded cast of RRR includes Jr NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles with Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn essaying pivotal parts.
