Shashi Kapoor, who played Shashi in the film Waqt, died in 2017, but his legacy lives on in the hearts of millions of Indian fans.

Many heart emojis were spammed throughout the comments section, indicating that netizens shared Amitabh Bachchan’s sentiments.

The two actors have shared screens and made popular pairing 12 times in their era. Right from Roti Kapda Aur Makan(1974), Deewar(1975), Kabhie Kabhie(1976), and many more. Amitabh Bachhan also had posted a heartfelt tribute after actor Shashi’s demise. Amitabh Bachhan once revealed that he learned a lot from the late actor, Shashi Kapoor. Shashi Kapoor has died in 2017, after battling kidney disease for so long. He was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai, where he left his journey of life.
