Anita Hassanandani Quashes Reports Of Quitting Acting, Says ‘Will Make A Return When Ready’

Embracing motherhood comes along with an array of new responsibilities. And our showbiz actresses are no exception. There have been times when many divas took sabbatical amid their motherhood journey but did make a comeback, inspiring everyone. In a similar instance, Anita Hassanandani has clarified that she’ll be making a return to the small screens once she’s ready. For those unaware, rumours were rife that Anita will be quitting acting to dedicate all the time to her newborn baby. 

Earlier this month, multiple reports stated that Anita had decided to stay away from the limelight to dedicate most of her time to her newborn child. Also, the reports added that the actor will be quitting her acting career. However, refuting all these claims, Anita said that acting is her “first love” and she will return to work when she is ready.

Taking to her Twitter handle, Anita wrote, “It’s all over that I’m quitting my first love ACTING. I never said that…. All I said was that my focus right now is my child…. Aaravv is my priority… I will resume work when I’m ready.” Fans were joyous, hearing it straight from their favourite star. Many Twitterattis shared their excitement and dissed media portals for “mincing” words. Also, a few fans seemed eager for Anita’s comeback.

In a recent interview, Anita talked about her motherhood journey. The actor also shared that work is the last thing on her mind and she is focusing on being a mother. And since then, the reports of Anita quitting the TV industry have been making rounds all over.

For those unversed, Anita and her hubby, Rohit Reddy tied the knot in 2013. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy in February this year. They have named their son Aaravv and are often seen sharing adorable pictures on social media.

On the work front, Anita was last seen in the TV saga Naagin 5.
