Parno Mittra
One’s own mental health can be a very personal thing for each and every person. And opening up about it publicly can be a tough thing to do, especially given how much scrutiny comes with being a celebrity at all times. However, Chokher Bali actor Parno Mittra has been very honest and open about her battle with depression. Speaking about her own mental health, she revealed details about being suicidal, how her doctors have been helpful and how crucial is the support of one’s friends and family during the tougher times.
Mental health is important! I have been suicidal and have thought of it a number of times. The pain doesn’t go away. We slowly move into a shell that becomes unbreakable! It’s not easy to open up or just talk to someone. It becomes a part of your being .

Nusrat Jahan
In a nation like India, people of various religious backgrounds have been known to co-exist for ages. While many people have wanted to or are in support of interfaith marriages, a good chunk of society is still against it to this day. However, this never stopped Asur actor Nusrat Jahan from going for an interfaith marriage. Nusrat is married to Nikhil Jain, a businessman based out of Kolkata. Although she received massive hatred for it and was bashed for accessories that are associated with the Hindu religion, she boldly spoke up about it stating faith and clothing do not have anything to do with each other and that nobody needs to comment on what she chooses to wear.
