Chaupai Sahib Song Out: Aparshakti Khurana Infuses New Life Into Traditional Track

Here to fill you with peace and divinity is Aparshakti Khurana’s special rendition of Chaupai Sahib. The traditional Sikh hymn is sung by the actor-singer. This piece is composed by Maninder Singh aka GoldBoy. The hymn by Guru Gobind Singh is one of devotion and protection, often recited to gain spiritual safety and defense from one’s internal and external enemies.

Talking about the song Aparshakti Khurana says that the hymn is one that has personally given him great strength and self-confidence and he was so honoured to lend my voice to this T-Series track which has been beautifully put together by GoldBoy. On the same, Maninder Singh aka GoldBoy says that Chaupai Sahib gives one the feeling that there is someone above there to protect and guide us all. He is so happy to work with Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series on this and Aparshakti has done a super job on the vocals.

On the work front, the leading production house and Aparshakti are working together for another film which also stars R Madhavan, Khushali Kumar and Darshan Kumar. Directed by Kookie V Gulati, the film has gone on floors recently and the company’s official Twitter handle announced it on social media. Khushali, who is Bhushan’s younger sister, will be essaying a strong character with shades of grey in her debut film.

Aparshakti has also been getting great reviews for his recent release on OTT, Helmet. The film’s concept has been loved by all and sundry. On a personal front, he became a father, and welcomed home a bonny baby girl earlier this month. It has been the best days of his life ever since, and he has shared about the same on his social media page as well.
