Comedy Couple: 5 Signs That Prove Zoya and Deep Are Made For Each Other

ZEE5 Original film Comedy Couple recently released on the OTT platform. The film is a classic modern-day love story of an urban live-in couple who are stand-up comedians by profession. The film consists of countless moments that focus on different instances and struggles two people face while in a relationship. However, throughout the film, the Comedy Couple, Zoya and Deep , played by Shweta Basu prasad and Saqib Saleem, managed to prove that they belong with each other.

1. They succeeded at being the best Comedy Couple

Zoya and Deep, who are a live-in urban couple also perform stand-up comedy together as a couple in the film. They started off easy and nervous but eventually hit-it off as a duo on-stage. They took small instances from the lives as a couple and turned it into light-hearted comedy for everyone to get a good laugh out of while enjoying their jokes themselves too. They killed it on-stage.

2. They stuck together through everything

As any urban live-in couple in today’s age faces trouble while renting out a place together, Zoya and Deep went through the exact same experience. Even though the downsides of the process resulted in a few arguments between the couple, they managed to stick together. They looked for ways out together without giving up on each other.

3. They remembered each other’s likes and dislikes

Zoya was seen telling her mother about how Deep had once bombarded a pizza place with emails after they added olives to their order, as Zoya was allergic to it. Deep also remembers to make her a cold coffee every morning as that is how she likes it, while Zoya prepares Deep’s tea every morning. They manage to always remember what their partner likes and needs.

4. Deep chugged a glass of gomutra without complaining

At the beginning of the film, Deep and Zoya were seen discussing how it is better for him to crack the religious joke on gomutra for their upcoming act. The joke later resulted in Deep getting arrested and having to gulp down an entire glass of the same. Despite the idea being Zoya’s, Deep did not blame her or complain while drinking the gomutra.

5. They felt incomplete without each other

Although Deep and Zoya went through the various struggles of a couple in a relationship and separated for a while, they were not able to get over each other. Deep drowned in sorrow and alcohol, while Zoya could not help but want to check upon him. She eventually forgave him and went to one of his shows. They made up and got back with each other after Deep realised his mistakes.
